A week that's yours
Everything you need, with none of the pressure.
Wake up when you're ready and come down to coffee and breakfast. Read a book. Write one. Walk through the vineyard. Sit beneath an olive tree. Do some work if you need to. Take a nap. Have another coffee. Talk to somebody. Don't talk to anybody. Have a glass of wine with dinner. Go back to bed whenever you like.
There's no timetable to follow, no schedule to keep and no expectation that you need to leave having achieved anything at all. Every meal is ready when you are, the estate is yours to explore, and the most demanding decision of the day is usually where to sit with your coffee.

Sometimes luxury isn't having more things to do.
It's having fewer things to think about. For seven days, we'll take care of the everyday stuff.
Breakfast
Wake up when you're ready. Come down for coffee, tea and breakfast. No rushing.
Lunch
A relaxed lunch at the estate each day. Fresh, simple food made to be enjoyed.
Dinner
In the evening, we'll come together around the table. Good food. Good wine. Good conversation. And nowhere you need to rush off to afterwards.
And in between… Tea. Coffee. Fruit. Bread. Pastries. Yoghurt. Something to snack on when you wander into the kitchen.
For one week, somebody else can think about the food.
Find your own little corner
Four hectares of vineyards, olive groves, forest and countryside.
Tenuta Monteluce sits within four hectares of vineyards, olive groves, forest and countryside. And you're welcome to disappear into it. Take a book into the vineyard. Find some shade beneath the olive trees. Go for a walk. Sit somewhere with a coffee. Or simply find somewhere quiet and do absolutely nothing.
Dotted around the estate are small, secluded cabins for our guests to use throughout their stay. Take your laptop. Your notebook. Your paints. Your book. Your headphones. Your coffee. Or nothing at all. Close the door and spend a few hours completely on your own. Write. Read. Work. Think. Nap.
There's no booking system and no additional charge. They're simply little places to disappear to when you need one.
What will you do with a week?
That's entirely up to you.

Maybe you've got a decision to make.

You don't need a reason to come here. And you don't need to make anything of the week once you arrive.

There are no compulsory workshops. Nobody is counting your words. Nobody is going to ask whether you've been productive. Come here to write, not to be told how to write.
If you need to work, that's okay too
We're not going to confiscate your laptop at the door.
There is Wi-Fi at the estate and plenty of quiet places to work. If spending three hours answering emails in the morning allows you to switch off for the rest of the day, do it. If you don't open your laptop once, even better.
You decide what switching off looks like for you.
Company when you want it
Monteluce is deliberately small.
You won't be staying in a resort with hundreds of other guests. Instead, you'll share the estate with a small group of people who have all come for their own reasons. You might barely see somebody all afternoon and then spend three hours talking to them over dinner. You might meet someone who loves the same books as you. You might sit together with your laptops open and barely say a word. Or you might simply say good morning over coffee and then disappear for the day.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner give the week a gentle rhythm and an opportunity to come together. But nobody is going to make you socialise.
Company when you want it. Space when you don't.

Sometimes having time and space gives you the opportunity to think about things you've been too busy to think about at home. A life and wellbeing coach is available at Monteluce for guests who would like somebody to talk something through with.
It might be work. A decision. An idea. Your writing. Something you're stuck on. Or simply what comes next. These are relaxed, private conversations intended as coaching and personal support rather than therapy. They're completely optional.
If you want to talk, somebody is there. If you don't, nobody will ask you to.

We have a small collection of rooms and apartments at Tenuta Monteluce, with different options depending on the amount of space and privacy you'd like.

Shared bedrooms are only available to couples, friends or family members booking together. We will never pair strangers in the same bedroom.
Getting here should be easy
The last thing you need is a complicated journey from the airport.
That's why scheduled return airport transfers are included. Book your flight. We'll arrange where to meet you. We'll collect you. We'll bring you to Monteluce. And when it's time to go home, we'll take you back again.
Arrive. Put your bag down. We'll take it from there.
And if you do want to go somewhere…
Of course you can. Doing nothing isn't compulsory.
If halfway through the week you decide you'd like to explore, we can help arrange optional experiences and days out. Perhaps you'd like to visit the Campanian coast. Explore a nearby town. Visit a winery. Try some local food. Spend a day sightseeing. Or simply go somewhere different for lunch.
These experiences are available separately and can be arranged during or before your stay. We don't include a long list of excursions just so we can say they're included.
Your diary starts empty. You decide whether you want to fill any of it.

We're not going to promise to transform you.
We're not going to tell you how to live your life. And we're not going to send you home with a twelve-point plan for becoming a new person. You don't need to become anything here.
Tenuta Monteluce is simply somewhere you can come when you'd like the world to ask a little less of you for a while. We'll cook. We'll clean. We'll make the coffee. We'll give you somewhere comfortable to sleep. What you do with the time in between is entirely yours.
